The Academic Registry of Zimbabwe National Defence University (ZNDU) is the central administrative body responsible for overseeing all academic and student administration functions. It serves as the institutional link between students, faculties and administrative departments, ensuring seamless coordination across the University. The Registry manages the full student lifecycle from recruitment and admissions through registration, examinations, and graduation while safeguarding the integrity of student records and academic processes.
Operating through two primary offices, the Admissions Office and the Student Records Office, the Registry handles application processing, student enrolment, records maintenance, and data management. It also provides essential administrative support, academic advising, and student services, while ensuring compliance with government regulations and institutional policies.
The Registry leverages data analytics to inform decision-making and policy formulation and continuously works to improve service delivery and institutional efficiency. Through proactive marketing of University programmes and engagement with prospective students, it contributes to the growth and sustainability of the University. To continually improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of processes and services provided by the University, in line with its strategies and to deliver excellent student experiences by managing student contracts and maintaining accurate data on students and courses.
